The MediaPAK Disposable Module is constructed of recyclable, polystyrene plastic, and combines the durability of a high-impact plastic module with the maintenance benefits of a disposable cardboard variety, says the company. Versions available are PK-18, with a 1-in. deep media bed for use in commercial environments, and the PK-12, with a 3-in. deep media bed for industrial use. PK-18 measures 6- by 12- by 18-in. and has a higher surface area than the PK-12, which measures 12- by 12- by 24-in., giving it a lower system pressure drop, says the company.
