Westport, Connecticut – With three months still remaining before the AHR Expo 2001 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, International Exposition Company has announced that more than 95% of the available exhibit space is already sold-out. Show management expects the remaining space to be completely sold by the time the Show opens in January.

According to Clay Stevens, president of International Exposition Company (IEC), more than 379,000 sq ft of the available 395,000 sq. ft. has been reserved by more than 1250 leading hvacr manufacturers from around the world, making it the second largest AHR Expo ever.

“We are delighted to be back in the southeast because it is a very strong marketplace for hvac products,” said Stevens. “With the exception of the 1999 Chicago Show, this will be the largest AHR Expo ever held. At this time, more than 1250 exhibitors have reserved space, including more than 168 international companies from 24 different countries.”

As in the past, the AHR Expo 2001 will be co-sponsored by ASHRAE and ARI and will be held concurrently with ASHRAE’s Winter Meeting. HRAI is an honorary sponsor and 15 other leading trade associations also endorse the show. As the leading conference and exposition for the hvacr industry, the last several events have completely sold out of exhibit space at convention centers around the country.

Next year’s AHR Expo in Atlanta will again feature the popular Building Automation and Control Showcase and the Software Center. In addition to the comprehensive conference program and short courses developed by ASHRAE, the show will offer 12 free educational sessions that are presented by Endorsing Associations.
