Howe Corporation(Chicago) announced new promotions and appointments.

Kevin McCool has been promoted to senior vice president-sales and marketing. McCool, with Howe for 12 years, previously served as vice president-sales and marketing. He will be responsible for overseeing all operations in these areas, both in domestic and international markets.

Andrew G. Ortman is promoted to vice president-sales and marketing. Ortman has been with Howe 14 years, most recently serving as director of marketing. In his new role, he will help with all functions of day-to-day sales and marketing operations.

Charles Janovsky has been named director-sales and marketing communications. A 12-year veteran of the refrigeration industry, Janovsky will be responsible for monitoring distributor sales efforts as well as the firm's advertising, promotions and trade show operations.

Carl Belles, P.E., is appointed Howe's sales engineer. Belles brings an extensive engineering background to Howe and will act as a liaison between sales and engineering departments and Howe customers. Previously he was a project manager and design engineer in the industrial refrigeration and pressure vessel industries.
