The company says its new Polyken 367-17 tape is the first product to combine the properties normally associated with 15 mils of butyl rubber with the performance requirements demanded of UL 181B-FX listed tape. The company says the tape was created to provide the same ease of use of a pressure-sensitive tape while retaining the superior sealing characteristics of a mastic. It is intended for use in flex duct applications. It is also ideal for use on sheet metal, says the company.
