The company says it now manufactures highly sensitive, diaphragm-type instruments designed to detect small changes in differential pressure while eliminating fluid migration between high and low pressure areas. The Series 1516 is designed to provide differential pressure readings in the range of 0-1 to 0-50 psid at line pressures up to 1,500 psig. Meanwhile, the Series 1831 and 1833 have larger diaphragms, designed to provide even greater sensitivity in the range of 0-5-in. H20 to 0-8 psid at line pressures up to 150 psig. Series 1516 and 1833 are supplied with NEMA-4 enclosures containing reed switches or a DPDT relay. Series 1831 gauge-switch instruments can be equipped with single or dual SPST reed switches, says the company. — Orange Research Inc. Milford, CT
