Emerson Climate Technologies names new president of Clive Samuels & Associates

Emerson Climate Technologies, a business of Emerson, announced the appointment of Alan Abramson to the position of president, Clive Samuels & Associates.

Emerson Climate Technologies, a business of Emerson, announced the appointment of Alan Abramson to the position of president, Clive Samuels & Associates. Prior to joining Emerson, Abramson led and worked for various facility engineering firms, most notably as president of Syska & Hennessy, a prominent international engineering and design consulting firm.

In addition, Abramson has also worked as a consultant to a variety of high-profile clients, offering his expertise as a registered professional engineer. He brings a wealth of experience in business development and operations. He is also past chairman of the Intelligent Buildings Institute.

“Alan’s mix of engineering expertise and business acumen make him the perfect fit to lead Clive Samuels & Associates,” said Bill Coulombe, president, Emerson Climate Technologies, Retail Solutions. “His skill and vision will help us meet the design challenges of the future and provide the best service for our customers.”

Abramson is a graduate of The Cooper Union with a degree in electrical engineering. He is a past instructor at the New York University’s Real Estate Institute and a former member of the faculties of the APPA Institute and New York Institute of Technology.
