Maxitrol Company, an international manufacturer of gas pressure regulators and electronic gas modulation systems, promoted Jeffrey DeWitt to vice president of engineering.

DeWitt’s responsibilities include management of production engineering, design/tooling operations and the quality assurance department.  He also is responsible for supervision and budgeting of capital expenditures for manufacturing and special projects.

“Jeff joined the company in 2004, and he has made substantial contributions to improvements in the manufacturing, quality, and engineering processes,” said Maxitrol Company president and CEO Bonnie Kern Koskela.

DeWitt is the former vice president of operations for a consumer electronics equipment manufacturer in Ann Arbor, MI.  He also worked previously for General Electric in various positions in quality, manufacturing, and engineering. DeWitt received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a Masters in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
