Anyone who has been reading my blog or the Mission Critical enewsletter in recent weeks knows that I have been very excited about yesterday’s Open Forum webinar. Those of you who want me to write about something else are about to get their way, sort of. For one thing, you can read all about the event at my Open Forum blog elsewhere on this page.

For another thing, I’m going to be at the 7x24Exchange next week in Palm Desert, CA, where organizers will graciously allow me to present some of the key findings from yesterday’s webinar. Oh well. I hope you can make the session. I’m sure you will it interesting.

I know Sun’s Dean Nelson thought it very important when our online survey found that more than 2/3 of those responding said they were not measuring PUE. We will be presenting more information like this at the 7x24Exchange.

In addition, this year’s event features a keynote from James Bradley, author of Flags of Our Fathers plus 3-1/2 days of sessions and unparalleled networking opportunities. Sunday, for example, includes three tutorial events.

Organizers have also included a number of case histories, plus they have developed two new interactive sessions to wrap up full days of sessions. I’m looking forward to these new formats. The 7x24Exchange has been very responsive to member requests for keeping this conference fresh and interesting, and I think this will be a great event.
