Educational Opportunities Abound

For many of us who track the seasons by the school year, summer has already ended, back-to-school shopping is complete, and long drives to distant campuses done. For a time, summers held the promise of a little golf or time to watch a little baseball, with just a little less business travel. But no longer, I think. We’re all accustomed to doing a little more with a little less and being a bit more productive year round.

With seven total U.S. events in 2008 (and many others internationally), plus a series of market studies from attendees, the Datacenter Dynamics folks have made it inexcusable for data center professionals to go without professional exchange, networking, and education. Each event offers a first-class program, professionally staffed vendor booths, and good networking. The events last one-day, so time away from the office is minimal, and with events from Miami to Seattle and most places in between, travel is not difficult. By the end of the year, I will have attended six shows this year, and I fully expect to at the Chicago event on September 16th. Please look for me there.

I’ll be at many other events this fall, including Data Center World, Datacenter Dynamics, Miami and Dallas, 7x24Exchange, and Powergen. I plan to use this blog to discuss what I learn at these events, among other things. Please feel free to touch base and let me know what you see that is new and interesting.
