Cleaver-Brooks Boilers (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd., based in Shenzhen, China, has sold the first of its first Ultra Low Emission boilers in China to Red Titan, a 38-story building located in Ningbo that features apartments, offices, retail stores, entertainment, restaurants and a gymnasium. Cleaver-Brooks is currently assembling three Model 4WI LE (Low Emission) boilers for the 655,500-square-foot Red Titan mixed-use building.

Cleaver-Brooks opened an assembly plant in China in April 2009 to meet the growing demand for high-efficiency, eco-friendly products in Asia. The company’s plants throughout the United States and Canada will continue to manufacture boilers for its North American, Latin American and Middle Eastern customers.

“Cleaver-Brooks has had a presence in China for more than 30 years, and the company has an excellent reputation, particularly among multinational companies that are doing business here,” said Stephen Li, general manager, Cleaver-Brooks Boiler (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd. “Establishing a physical presence in China allows us to more effectively offer the Asian market eco-friendly technology that significantly exceeds China’s clean air standards.”

“Sales of Cleaver-Brooks boilers in China have been strong” added Li. “In addition to the Red Titan building, we are currently working with numerous internationally recognized companies in the beverage, pharmaceutical, and hospitality sectors.”
